On Feb. 24, a poll conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute found that 16 percent of Americans believe the central tenets of the QAnon conspiracy. That figure is larger than it was shortly after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. But lawmakers are still struggling to figure out how to handle the conspiracy theory problem.
