Location of Couple Infected with Coronavirus Found Using Phone Tracking System

The Australian authorities turned to a phone-tracking system to determine the places visited by a couple infected with coronavirus in an attempt to prevent the virus from spreading and checking all people who might have been in contact with the two.

The couple traveled from Wuhan to Adelaide to attend a house auction before being diagnosed with coronavirus and isolated in hospital.

Both are in stable condition and collaborating with the law enforcement to provide more information on the places they’ve been to while in Adelaide, local officials say cited by ABC.

To get a better picture of their movements in the region, the state’s Police Commission says the investigators used a phone-tracking system that is typically employed for tracking criminals.
