Learn the Latest in Cybersecurity For Healthcare Industry at HIMSS 2020

It’s time to get your yearly dose of HIMSS conference in Orlando, Florida!

Join Duo Security and all your favorite healthcare information and technology professionals from around the world at the Orange County Convention Center for this year’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Conference (HIMSS), from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13. Spend the week networking with your peers, visiting with solution providers, and attending sessions and panel discussions on topics like cybersecurity, privacy, healthcare applications and technologies, user-centered design and more.

This year’s conference will feature keynote talks from speakers such as Arianna Huffington, the founder and CEO of Thrive Global; healthcare system CEOs Gianrico Farrugia of Mayo Clinic and Rod Hochman of Providence St. Joseph; and Former Governors Chris Christie (R-NJ) and Terry McAuliffe (D-VA).

Between sessions attendees will have plenty of opportunities to get hands-on experience with the latest solutions and technologies. Duo will have a spot on the exhibit floor, so find us at Booth 267 to learn how our two-factor authentication (2FA) and zero-trust security solutions can help your organization improve productivity, streamline EPCS workflows, and protect EHR applications.

We’ll be in the HIMSS exhibit area during the following hours:

  • Tuesday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST
  • Wednesday, March 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST
  • Thursday, March 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST

In addition to chatting with us at our booth, schedule a 1:1 meeting with us at Suite 248 at the Rosen Centre Hotel, adjacent to the Convention Center. Join us and take a break from the crowds as you chat with a Duo representative and get hands-on-experience with in-depth demos of our newest features. (Reach out to your Duo contact today to set an appointment or email us at adr@duo.com to schedule!)

If you’d like more information about our zero-trust security solution, mark your calendar for the talk, “Zero-Trust Approach for the Healthcare Workforce,” led by Duo’s Lead Healthcare Product Specialist, Amanda Rogerson in Room W209C at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 to learn about how healthcare organizations can quickly and effectively reduce the threat surface and meet compliance requirements with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Many governments are recommending MFA to stay safe and compliant

MFA, sometimes called two-factor authentication (2FA), is a security protection that requires users to provide two pieces of evidence – your credentials – when logging in to an account to gain trusted access. Your credentials fall into any of these three categories: something you know (like a password or PIN), something you have (like a smart card), or something you are (like your fingerprint).

If you’re interested in learning more about Duo’s newest features in the meantime, please check out our blog for information on our new Device Health App, our integration with Cisco’s Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) for Endpoints, or Cisco’s AnyConnect + Duo Trusted Endpoints Feature.

We look forward to discussing how Duo can help get your security infrastructure in shape, and wish you a happy winter until we meet in sunny Orlando.
